|ABOUT THE POSITION:
Loctek is the market-leading manufacturer of TV mounts, monitor mounts, TV carts and tablet stands. The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for managing and directing development of new business opportunities. Ideal candidate will preferably have worked at a major retail corporation as buyer or account executive with relative experience. Will be required to develop account relationships, lead the sales process and maintain unique selling opportunities. Profitably deliver mounting solutions to new/prospective customers. Penetrate competitively-held and targeted accounts to increase business opportunities. The individual in this role will also work with the marketing team to build awareness and promote company brands via effective marketing tactics.
Formulates/runs an effective brand building/marketing mix by building awareness of and advocacy for company products through active participation in the industry network.
Create and cultivate relationships that attract new clients and further develop the existing customer base.
Works closely with the marketing team to design/test/assess campaigns for their respective markets that increase customer connections and result in lasting relationships.
Observes early signals on marketing trends and needs by targeting potential/existing customers in this market segment to continuously refine sales practices/technology tools.
Conducts regular review of promotional activities to enhance and identify development potential.
Manages and grows existing accounts.
Demonstrates effective account management practices to identify target accounts, consistently maintaining sales activity and a contact database.
Plans for and attends trade shows to establish new business.
Educates clients on company products and services.
Provides proactive assistance and support to clients.
Provides professional, knowledgeable, courteous customer service.
Meets customer needs, offers options, resolves problems and follows up with customers.
Negotiate and establish contractual agreements with clients when appropriate.
Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Preferably have experience in mounting and display solutions industry as a quota carrying sales executive.
In general, a candidate should be outgoing, a good communicator, possess good marketing skills, have strong technology skills, be competitive, a hard worker, not afraid to travel, fearless in cold calling/promoting, able to create a good impression and be healthy/active.
Ability to take initiative and problem solve.

Proficient in the use of a personal computer and corresponding programs.
Interpersonal skills and customer service skills required.
Excellent verbal and written skills, including excellent interpersonal skills with a strong emphasis on listening skills.
Minimum Education: College degree preferred.
Sales/marketing experience required. Knowledge of TV mounts and/or computer monitor mounts a plus.
